Bataleon Evil Twin

I don't know why but I always had a fascination with this one, probably because I like black yellow unlike wiz khalifa of course but lets just say it works it's a jib stick by all means but I like the cool name and the simple graphics. It has been around for years but the triple base technology has it's fans the rocker is catch free and the pop is magical, so if you want a board with traditional camber and a catch free rocker to rock around the park this one is definitely for you.

Lib Tech Birdman

This is a very ineteresting board form me I'm not a big fan of powder and freeride (or I should just tell you the truth and admit that I'm rubbish at it :)) The Birdman replaced the long running Snow Mullet. Its a specialty ultra deep powder board for riders who already know what they are looking for.  The Birdman is basically the most un-sinkable powder board out there.  If you like a caddy type feel and ride in ultra deep snow this is one of the only choices you have for ultra big boards. It might not be a looker it's a sort of love it or hate it board, but if you need a specific deep powder board you won't go wrong with this cool board.

Roxy Ally

I think it's time for a Female board again and isn't she a beauty. Ladies and Gentlemen I give you the beautiful Roxy Ally
You look at it and you think it's a mess and it is, but it is a beautiful mess on another note this is a good board. This is pro slopestyle competitor Kjersti Buaas’ accomplice for all-condition event. This is a great Beginner to Intermediate all mountain freestyle board. This board will really help you discover almost every aspect of the park but if you are looking for something to learn mostly mountain riding you should probably look elsewhere.

Burton Barracuda

This is a bit of a strange on it's sort of love or hate for me looks strange but cool at the same time, tho I have to tell you the name sells the board for me. This board is a child of Burton Malolo and the Burton Supermodel. The Barracuda's ride is a very nice blend of the 2 discontinued boards and this is a great choice for any intermediate to expert freerider who lives for powder, morning groomers and good condition riding. So this is a sort of a mixed bag but i have to say I'll stay away from the strange and delve into the cool.

Salomon Man's Board

The reason why I like is because it's a man's no I'm just kidding it's just the marketing gimmick. This is the board with the unique beer inspired graphics it is the performance that will make you a happy customer. Despite having Cork and Bamboo sidewalls the Man’s board is built like a brick house.  It's a very good all conditions ride. The waist width is a little wider so it's a good Mid sized boot choice for those riders right in between a regular size board and a mid/wide board. This is a cool board it's an award winner as well this board is a 2012 Good Wood Award Winner for All - Mountain Snowboards over 400$ so I think this board brings a lot of bang for your buck.

Never Summer Evo

This board has been a giant of Never Summers freestyle commitment to snowboarding. The Evo is made for park-play and it is very good at it. It's not great on the mountain but it is decent for such a soft board, Never Summer boards are great in almost every condition.  The one complaint is when the conditions are firm the Evo R looses that feeling of stability when you are one footing or flat basing.  It's a nice looking board looks a bit menacing which definitely is a good thing. I really like the web structure of the graphics bring together with death and you have a winner which scores well on my cool boards chart.

Lib Tech Skate Banana

You just have to add this one, this as I think is a classic the design has improved over time which is a great thing. The Skate Banana started it all in the rockered park board world.
The Skate Banana's loose, soft and playful it is perfect for someone who loves to play in the park.  The worst thing about is that it can't handle speed compared to most hybrid shapes there is a doubt in the carving ability.  This does the job in the park very well. It just takes some getting use to. The Skate Banana has a rep that is beyond it's performance but it is still a great all around freestyle board. It might have some issues but as park play-board  it's very nice and I have to say the graphics look a lot cooler than on the original one.

Capita Black Snowboard of Death

Just the name makes it cool, not only the fact that it's one of the best all mountain snowboards out there. It's got a pretty stiff flex, rather narrow waist (except for the extension in the very middle) and rides fast. Want a snowboard that is so menacing that you’ll have to keep it locked in a shed at the end of the garden? Well you’re search is at an end. I love the name I love the looks, so anyone looking for something menacing this is definitely for you.

The most expensive snowboard

While researching the world’s most expensive snowboard, I found an interesting story the “King of Snow Mountain” in China bought solid gold snowboard at a price of $10 million which has been custom made in the USA and the best bit is that it's motorised and all this for his son’s 21st birthday.

That is not it by the way. Enough with the rich and famous well not really cause the Burton Method is one hell of an investment if you work it out at a price per Kg basis it’s more expensive than Silver!  It has an extremely light core it’s a bit like picking up a block of polystyrene when you’ve expected to lift a house brick. This is also an extremely sexy board to look at. There’s no top-sheet, just a clear laminate to showcase the exquisite carbon fibre composite construction. It also has the Methlon base which Burton claim is the slipperiest substance known to man, other than Jelly which doesn’t make a great snowboard base. That's the technical mumbo jumbo have a look at it you be the judge of is it cool or worth it all that money.

Steampunk snowboard

This is a bit different from all the rest of them this is a work at home DYI job take look at it and be the judge has some interesting features for a snowboard made from scrap, with sails affixed to gather air, that helps run a generator as it makes way to the rear chamber.

GNU Carbon Credit BTX

The reason the GNU Carbon Credit BTX is more expensive for an entry level boards is because even expert freestyle riders can still appreciate many qualities the Carbon Credit has.  So basically it's more than just an entry level freestyle board. I found the flex to be good, not too soft and not too stiff. The board turns easily and goes edge to edge well and in general is very easy to ride - very user-friendly. And the retro-ish modern look does a great job it looks really cool it gives that realaxing feeling to you don't know it's good or bad for a board but it definitely scores well with my cool rating.

Salamon Lily

This time it's a female board, and tell me it's not a beauty, it's just black and white  I know but it's a beautiful design and this is the board Jenny Jones chooses to lay down her X Games winning runs on so only on that element it's a very cool board. This board is for girls who know how to ride and want a park board that is pure performance, the Lily helps you pop ollies higher with Popster’s core profile design, so not only is it a cool board it's a great jib board.

Rossignol Taipan Amptek

Aka the Angus, replace  the Carbon and Kevlar reinforcement from the construction and trade in the pricey 7500 sintered base for Rossi’s slick 4400 sintered base and you’ve got the Taipan. It is a directional board. The front it's a 7 flex and the rest is a 6. So it is a little stiffer on the head. I really like hybrid construction. I think that is about enough of the technical stuff well I can tell you it's a good all mountain board I have ridden one and I really like, by the way did I tell you it looks awesome the graphics really pop the pictures might not tell you the truth but in really life itis a really cool looking board.
